Planning for 2025: Training & Professional Development
Building Effective Professional Development Programs One Step at a Time
By Dr. Diana Brandon
Organizations are under increasing pressure to offer professional development opportunities that meet the growing demands of their workforce. Whether in medical, legal, education, manufacturing, utility work, agriculture, automotive, or other industries, professional development programs are essential for helping employees stay competitive and compliant with industry standards.
So, when you set out to create a professional development program, where do you start? The options seem endless:
The sheer number of decisions can quickly overwhelm the initial spark of excitement. In this blog we will address these questions and explain how to create impactful, well-designed learning experiences that empower your members’ professional growth.
Greetings from the CEO
Dear eLearningDOC Community,
As we approach the close of another incredible year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the strides we’ve made together and extend my deepest gratitude for the dedication and passion that has fueled our success.
Our mission to empower clients to create transformative learning experiences guides every new project, partnership, and product enhancement.
Our partnerships with professional associations have grown tremendously this year. We've been privileged to support associations in designing and delivering stellar professional development programs that elevate member learning and generate revenue. Together, we're making a meaningful impact on individuals' professional lives while strengthening the organizations that support them.
We've pioneered new ways to enhance and extend learning by transforming webinars into dynamic courses. This approach has allowed our clients to create on-demand resources that provide value long after the initial session. It's been affirming to see how these learning experiences continue to make training and professional development more accessible, efficient, and impactful for diverse audiences.
We were fortunate to sponsor events and actively participate in learning industry conferences. By sharing insights and engaging with thought leaders, we not only enrich our team's knowledge but also strive to help other learning professionals recognize the vital role of eLearning in today's educational landscape.
Additionally, our monthly EmpowerED Webinar series welcomed experts to foster rich discussions on trends, challenges, and innovations in adult learning. We hosted professionals from higher education, technology, professional associations, and manufacturing. These sessions have been a highlight, reminding us of the power of shared knowledge and collaboration.
Looking ahead, we are excited about what's on the horizon. Our commitment to pedagogically sound, learning-based techniques remains at the core of what we do. As we enter the new year, we'll continue to drive forward with a focus on upskilling, reskilling, and advancing professional development. Our mission to empower clients to create transformative learning experiences will guide every new project, partnership, and product enhancement.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Let's embrace the new year with optimism, ambition, and a shared commitment to lifelong learning! Wishing you a happy, healthy, and prosperous year ahead!
Warmest regards, Angela
