VOLUME 3 / NUMBER 2 / FEBRUARY 2025

Group of business people around a conference table.

Dear eLearningDOC Community,

The year is off to a great start, and I’m pleased to highlight an area of our business that is making an educational impact on working professionals. Our partnerships with professional associations are growing stronger! We love working with these mission-driven organizations that play a vital role in advancing success across all sectors. Through our education and training programs, we are delivering support to both individuals in their careers and the organizations that support them.

Supporting Associations in Elevating Member Education and Engagement

We recently wrapped up the Certified Association Executive (CAE) Study Course for the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) to help members prepare for their credentialing exam. The CAE is widely recognized within the association industry as a gold standard for professional expertise. This accreditation helps professionals advance their careers with validation they have mastery in the key areas necessary to serve in leadership positions.

In September, we're excited to provide sponsorship of the TSAE New Ideas Annual Conference in San Antonio once again. We're looking forward to seeing our Texas association friends and sharing the latest in eLearning innovations!

On February 17, our team heads to Orlando for the 48th Training Conference & Expo, which is considered to be the premier event for the training industry hosted by Training magazine. Along with my colleague Kristen Stevenson, our workshop will take a deep dive into the hidden costs organizations face due to inadequate training. We'll uncover those costs and focus on how to turn them around and transform teams into an organization's most valuable asset. You can read more about this topic in the blog co-authored by Kristen Stevenson.

Here's to another busy year of growth and great partnerships!

Best regards,

Angela

From Webinar to Dynamic

You've invested in content and developed and hosted a webinar. Now what?

Think about your last live webinar. Participants enjoyed the event, and the content and delivery were successful. But what comes next? Do you send out the recording and hope more people view it? How can you track learner engagement and mastery? How will you prevent the recording from becoming lost in the endless sea of online media?

Webinars are powerful tools, but unfortunately, the shelf life for learners to watch a recorded webinar is only around ten days (Hubilio, 2023).

Webinar Views Over Time

There is a solution! Repurpose that content! A significant benefit of webinar content is its versatility. By transforming this time-bound information into on-demand, self-paced learning experiences, you provide flexible educational opportunities that better meet learners’ needs while maximizing the value of your existing recordings.

You can read all the details in our latest whitepaper on webinar conversion.
