Greetings from the CEO

Dear eLearningDOC Community,

In this month’s newsletter, we are pleased to highlight one of our exceptional clients making a significant impact in social-emotional learning and trauma-resilience education. Trauma-Resilient Educational Communities (TREC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing strategies that foster stronger, more productive communities. Their programs have been adopted in schools across the U.S., providing a trauma-resilient approach to teaching and ensuring that each student’s emotional and academic needs are fully supported.

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with TREC on developing their new parenting course. Our instructional design team worked closely with their leadership to create a learning approach that works for parents and guardians with busy schedules and limited time. Upon completion of the course, participants earn a Trauma-Resilient Parenting Certification. Please take a look at the TREC case study below. And, while you are on our website, you can read more case studies showcasing our work with our valued clients!

TREC is offering the Parenting Course at no cost as a community service, making it accessible to everyone!

Next up is a trauma-resiliency course for healthcare professionals.

Our current project with TREC is a course tailored to healthcare professionals. TREC programs are critical for any business that wants to infuse a science-based approach to staff training and strengthen their organization through trauma-resiliency training.

Thank you for keeping connected with eLearningDOC. We will continue to bring you updates on what's happening in the eLearning space and hope to serve you in the near future!

Warm regards,

Angela

Social-Emotional Learning, Trauma-Resilient Parenting Course

Trauma-Resilient Educational Communities (TREC) recently released a new certificate course for parents and guardians. This course is part of the ongoing work TREC is doing to help create healing-centered relationships and provide strategies to create stronger, more trauma-informed communities.

Building trauma-resilient families, empowering parents and children.

Recognizing the staggering impact of children's exposure to adverse experiences, costing society upwards of $458 billion annually (Penn Today, University of Pennsylvania), the critical need to mitigate the adverse effects of trauma compelled the leadership at TREC to develop coursework specifically targeted to raising not only trauma awareness but raising trauma-resilient children. Understanding that it can be harder for parents who have faced difficult childhoods to navigate parenting, and it takes skilled support to make a difference in the lives of children who have been exposed to trauma, TREC conceived the Trauma-Resilient Parenting Certification course.
