Dr. Jeremy A. Ervin has been training future teachers how to teach, as both a professor and Dean of Education at various universities. He recognizes that 21st-century learning needs to center on the engagement of the learner through authentic, technology-enhanced, project-based learning (PBL) lessons. Dr. Ervin is the Founder and Chief Administrative Officer of the new tuition-free K-12 school in Xenia, OH called, Community STE(A)M Academy – Xenia. His research interest in STEAM Literacy and community engagement has reinforced his motto of “Teaching Students, Not Content.”
