Greetings from the CEO
Our family of executives from eLearningDOC, Strategic Systems, Inc., and Pandata attended the CIOTomorrow Nexus to Apex Conference last month in Columbus, Ohio.
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well as we transition into a new season of learning and growth. August was an incredibly insightful and inspiring month for us, and I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates with you!
My colleague, Madeleine McCusker, and I had the pleasure of attending the CIOTomorrow, Nexus to Apex, Generational Change in the Silicon Heartland Conference in Columbus, Ohio, presented by Columbus Business First. It was an amazing experience to learn from and connect with fellow chief information officers and technology leaders. We explored topics that resonate deeply with the challenges and opportunities we face today, such as transformational leadership in the digital age and driving mindful authenticity in a gen-AI world. These discussions only reaffirmed the importance of staying adaptable, innovative, and authentic as we navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape.
We are committed to staying adaptable, innovative, and authentic as we navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape.
As we continue to build on these learnings, I’m excited to share that eLearningDOC is a proud sponsor of next week’s Texas Society of Association Executives Annual Conference. For more details, please enjoy the article below.

Blog: Personalized Learning
Personalized Learning: It’s not what you think!
Unless you’ve been living off-grid, you’ve been experiencing a more personalized world. Media and shopping are two areas where personalization is happening, perhaps without your knowledge, as the ads you see are targeted to you based on browser history, geographic location, and basic demographics. What’s more, customization is a marketing feature for brands and services across all kinds of areas: personalized workouts, sleep schedules, playlists, task lists, and home décor are just a few of the plethora of customizable offerings available today. With the somewhat overwhelming possibilities of fully customized aspects of everyday life, it’s no wonder that learners are seeking, if not demanding, a more personalized learning offering than the traditional curriculum.
At its core, personalized learning is all about fulfilling the needs of the learners.
Dr. Diana L. Brandon
In this new blog, Dr. Brandon will explore how learning styles are preferences rather than inherent traits. By embracing the flexibility that personalized learning offers, we can better support learners in achieving their full potential.
Join us and our special guest, Dr. Stephanie Duguid, to explore how personalized learning techniques can transform your training and education programs. This approach customizes instruction to meet each learner’s unique needs, preferences, and interests. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, personalized learning focuses on adapting the educational experience to align with individual strengths and learning styles. It offers opportunities for choice and self-direction that boost engagement, motivation, and overall learning success.
