Spring Learning Conferences: Local & International
Seth Godin is a mainstage speaker at the ATD Conference in May. He is a renowned entrepreneur, author, and public speaker who is revolutionizing the way we think about modern business dynamics.
Dear eLearningDOC Community,
Happy Spring! It continues to be a busy quarter for us here at eLearningDOC. This month, we’ll be attending a large-scale Ohio Business Matchmaker event in Dayton, Ohio.
We are looking forward to bringing our team, where we will have the opportunity to connect with government agencies interested in training and development programs for their local, state, and federal agencies. Our partner, Strategic Systems, Inc., has enjoyed a successful twenty-year history of working with government agencies, and we are excited topresent alongside them to expand our offering of custom learning solutions to attendees at the event.
Next month, we’ll be attending the Association for Talent Development (ATD) International Conference & Exposition. The ATD Conference has long been a space where learning professionals come together to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and explore new ways to support growth in organizations of all kinds.
One of the things I value most about these professional gatherings is the chance to connect with others who are just as passionate about the future of learning as we are. Over four days, we’ll be engaging in conversations with people from around the globe about what’s next for eLearning, sharing insights with peers, and, of course, bringing back fresh ideas to inspire our work with our clients.
I look forward to sharing some of our biggest takeaways from the conference with you soon!
Best regards, Angela

Blog: Motivating and Retaining Young Employees
A generation that wants to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a meaningful way.
Generation Z employees have now surpassed the number of baby boomers. These individuals, born between 1997 and 2012, are aged 13 to 28 and part of a new generation of employees who want to learn and develop their skills in meaningful ways and on their own terms. They are industrious young people increasingly selecting opportunities in skilled trades and choices in learning outside of the traditional four-year college track.
In our latest blog, Kristen Stevenson, outlines the aspirations of young employees and how organizations can meet their needs for success. Here's a snapshot:
Younger employees want to live and work on their own terms.
As you seek to motivate and retain younger employees, give careful thought to how their unique strengths can contribute positively to the overall team
Nurture a sense of community and belonging.
The research shows that Gen Z employees must feel personally connected, engaged, and invested in the work they do. They value peer connections, open dialogue, and personal well-being connected to purpose-driven work.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and clearly articulate career progression paths.
Many younger employees prioritize skilled trades over college, seeking meaningful learning and growth opportunities within organizations. To motivate and retain younger employees, organizations should implement tailored learning programs, clear career paths, and mentorship initiatives.
